holmes_minorThe activity this month involves Hallowe'en costumes. Taking a leaf out of the book of their American cousins, the characters of the ACD world have decided to dress in fancy dress. And perhaps you would like to choose the costume for them—describing it in as much detail as you like. For example, Mrs. Hudson might like to be a Gibson girl—with Bessie doing her hair, and Mr. Holmes lending her the corset.

As always, you needn’t take part in this activity if you don’t wish to. Once you’re a member, you can post what and when you want—as long as you keep to the 500 words or less wordcount and the ACD Holmes ‘verse. AUs, crossovers and fusions are all permitted, as long as the characters remain essentially recognisable as the original ACD versions.
