Watson's Woes July Writing Prompt

We know many of our readers and commenters have a fondness for Dr Watson.  We would encourage you therefore to join Miss Mary Sutherland in dusting off your typewriter or Mr Jabez Wilson and purchase a penny bottle of ink, a new quill pen and several sheets of foolscap paper, so that you too can participate in the wonders of watsons_woes July Writing Prompts.

Every day there will be a new prompt to provide inspiration.  And rest assured, all your other favourite characters can be involved too.  Indeed, for this month only, it is not necessary to batter, bruise or generally make life difficult for the good doctor - unless you wish to of course.

And, if your contribution is under 500 words, and fulfils the rest of the requirements of this community, do please feel free to cross-post here.  Alternatively, if it would be easier for you, a summary post containing links to your relevant ficlets/artwork would be quite acceptable.

But if you do not wish to write, you may produce artwork or just go along to read and be entertained.  We understand there will even be derivatives from the One True Telling.

Thank you to the Ocelot! (You were very quick off the mark, sir ^^) Beautifully written piece of publicity. I was most taken with the references to Miss Sutherland and Mr. Wilson, and "One True Telling" ^_^

Despite my partiality for the good doctor, I will be jumping ship in July and taking part in FFM, of course ^^" But I will be reading and cheering everyone else on at Watson's Woes - and will probably have a go at the amnesty prompts ^^
