“Nothing unusual.”

“That wouldn’t be my missing collar, would it?”

Holmes ran a finger round the inside of the collar.  “Why would you think that.”

“Because it is loose on you, and my collars are bigger than yours.”

“Mrs Hudson must have made a mistake.”

“Mrs Hudson does not make mistakes.”

“She was saying she’d made one just the other day.”

“Yes, that was in respect of having you as a tenant.  Which gives me an idea.  She’s double starched your collars again, hasn’t she?  In which case, I’ll have my collar back, thank you.”
