Warning/Content: Holmes has many outfits, but this is the one Watson prefers.

 

There is no doubt that Holmes is a master at dressing as other characters, be it a priest, an ostler, or an elderly lady.  Even I, who am well-used to his performances, may have to look twice at a cantankerous old sailor, or a dangerous ruffian, before I am sure it is in truth, Holmes.

However, I have to admit my favourite outfit for him is the one he chooses when we are dining at Simpson’s at the end of a case, when I know he is still dressing with care, but this time it is purely for my benefit.
