Having been fooled by Holmes in the past when he’s termed something a perfect vision and then I’ve been confronted by a dead body in a locked room, or the solution to a case covering the whole floor in 221B, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect when I accompanied him to Sussex.

However, when he showed me the cottage he had found, and we looked out of the upstairs windows at the back of the cottage, I was delighted to agree with him.  It was a wonderful view and I was enchanted at his idea of us retiring there.
