Sherlock Holmes read the letter which had just arrived and tossed it onto the table.

Watson glanced at it and said, “Greek, Holmes?”

“No, it’s code.  A message from Mycroft, who believes someone else will have read it too.”

“What does it say?”

“To meet him at a certain location tomorrow evening, where the presumed reader will also casually be, thinking himself safe, only to be apprehended by the authorities.”

“But if this person can read the code…”

“Mycroft encoded a second message within the first, which I somehow doubt will have been read.  A childhood trick he taught me.”
