“I punched my cousin in the nose once,” Stanley Hopkins remarked.
“That doesn’t sound like you at all, Hopkins,” Dr Watson replied. “What made you do that?”
“He said it was silly of me to want to be a policeman.”
“That still seems a bit of an over-reaction. Why did he say it?”
“I’d told him it was silly to want to be a dragon slayer and he replied saying being a policeman was silly.”
Dr Watson’s eyebrows shot up.
“We were five years old at the time.”
