Title: The Rolling Pin
Form/Word Count: 150
Characters/Pairing: Mrs Hudson, Sherlock Holmes
Rating: G
Warning/Content: Mrs Hudson finds something missing
Mrs Hudson collected together all the ingredients she needed for making an apple pie. She then collected the utensils she would require, since she had learnt that, with baking, speed was of the essence as she was certain to be interrupted sooner or later. It was at that point she discovered her rolling pin was missing. There was, in her opinion, only one person who would have taken it. She strode upstairs to retrieve it from her tenants’ rooms.

As soon as she entered, she spotted the rolling pin carelessly discarded on a dining chair. She marched over and seized it.
“Ah, Mrs Hudson,” Sherlock Holmes began, “I was just…” he tailed off and mumbled something incoherent.
It is a truth, universally acknowledged, that there is only one thing more frightening than a landlady who has lost her rolling pin, and that is the landlady once she has found it.
