The prompt for this month is:
Saints
Perhaps you could set your fic in one of the many places around the world that is named after a saint or saints? Or use one of the London churches. Maybe you could write about one of the virtuous, patient people of canon—like, oh, Mrs. Hudson for instance. Or write about someone who presents themself as a saint but is a sinner underneath. Or what about Holmes and Watson living in France? Watson gets to celebrate his name day on the feast day of St. John the Baptist, and Holmes is grumpy because there is no Saint Sherlock.
As always, you needn’t use this prompt if you don’t wish to. Once you’re a member, you can post what and when you want—as long as you keep to the 500 words or less wordcount and the ACD Holmes ‘verse. AUs, crossovers and fusions are all permitted, as long as the characters remain essentially recognisable as the original ACD versions.
