The activity for this month is:


Family Trees!


That is, putting together a small family tree for any canon character that takes your fancy.



Here’s an example for Mrs. Hudson:


Mrs. Pearce [Occupation: Landlady]

Mrs. Dawson [Occupation: Landlady]

|

Mrs. Campbell [Occupation: Landlady]

|

John | Richard | Henry | Mrs. Hudson | Thomas | Robert | Septimus


Additional notes: We can see from this that Mrs. Hudson began her training as Sherlock Holmes' landlady early—coming from a long line of landladies and having six boisterous brothers. (Though she does now look back on her childhood as a time of calm and tranquility in comparison.)


Let your imagination run free, and discover as many obscure and hitherto unknown relatives as you can!


As always, you needn’t take part in this activity if you don’t wish to. Once you’re a member, you can post what and when you want—as long as you keep to the 500 words or less wordcount and the ACD Holmes ‘verse. AUs, crossovers and fusions are all permitted, as long as the characters remain essentially recognisable as the original ACD versions.
