Monthly Prompt: September
Sep. 1st, 2018 08:01 am![[identity profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/openid.png)
The prompt for this month is:
Stitches
Maybe a character is doing embroidery or repairing clothes. Or maybe they’re sewing a disguise. Perhaps the stitches are medical sutures. Or someone is ‘in stitches’ or has a stitch while running. Maybe you could do something with the saying: ‘A stitch in time saves nine’. And though the phrase itself wasn’t used in Victorian times yet, perhaps someone is being ‘stitched up’ and blamed for a crime they haven’t committed...
As always, you needn’t use this prompt if you don’t wish to. Once you’re a member, you can post what and when you want—as long as you keep to the 500 words or less wordcount and the ACD Holmes ‘verse. AUs, crossovers and fusions are all permitted, as long as the characters remain essentially recognisable as the original ACD versions.
Please see the profile for the full posting guidelines!
