Summary: Holmes and Watson on the boat to Norway at the conclusion of the "Black Peter" case.
Author's Notes: debriswoman challenged me to do a dróttkvætt (which is an Old Norse poetic form with a great number of rules) for National Poetry Month (US). The opening verse is this form, which is supposed to be of a bragging, boastful tone. For the monthly prompt: transformation and a very, very poorly hidden Easter Egg. This may end up being part of a larger 5+1 but it can stand alone.
