The Sloth looked at the copy he held in his hand. “Is it too much to ask,” he moaned, “that our contributors learn to use basic punctuation?”
“I’m sure Poley’s done her best,” the Ferret said. “She was very careful with what she wrote.”
“Poley’s had very little to correct,” the Sloth said. “And some of that turned out to be pips from the raspberry jam, which I doubt was her fault.”
The Ferret picked up the offending article and read it out loud. “Mrs Arbuthnot shares her enjoyment in baking her dog and her cats.”
“See what I mean?”
