Just been reading the article you linked. I had known ACD knew Eugen Sandow but I hadn't known any of the details - fascinating stuff. What a thoughtful act from ACD & Watson - getting the winner a room for the night, but also advising on using the prize as an advertisement. An astute idea ^___^
