I kind of borrowed from real life a bit there. I went through the menopause in my early 40s. I had no major problems with it and I honestly didn't realise what had been going on until I was out the other side and things had settled down again ^__^ The thing is though, I'd actually joked about having hot flushes, and a colleague had pointed out people my age can go through the menopause. No, No! I said, I'm too young! No, no, I wasn't ^__^
