Fic: All Wet by Moonlight
Title: All Wet by Moonlight
Form/Wordcount: 100
Characters/Pairings: The Sloth, the Ferret, Aemilia Vole, the rest of the Gang
Rating: G
Warnings/Content: The film, of course, is Ill Met by Moonlight, but the Ferret is no Dirk Bogarde. Written for
fffc "Moon" prompt, includes mention of flowers. I would like them to have seen Queen Mary's Rose Garden, but that would have been an anachronism.
It was a beautiful moonlit night, and The Gang had decided to take a stroll through Regent’s Park and introduce Aemilia Vole to Inky Quill.
As they walked over one of the small bridges across the water, the Ferret peered down and said, “Isn’t the reflection of the moon wonderful tonight? I could almost stretch out and touch it.”
The others agreed, and continued walking, telling Aemilia about the roses, delphiniums and begonias which were to be found on display in the gardens.
Suddenly there was a loud splash.
“Ah,” said the Sloth, “I think the Ferret’s over-stretched himself again.”
