Fic: According to Bradshaw: G

Title: According to Bradshaw
Form/Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairing:  Dr Watson, Sherlock Holmes, Inspector Lestrade
Rating: G
Warning/Content: Lestrade isn't convinced by a witness

“I simply do not believe Dawkins,” Inspector Lestrade said.  “Yet I cannot prove he is lying.”

Holmes thought for a moment, then requested I pass him our Bradshaw.  He flicked through the pages, ran his finger down one of the columns and said, “And you are quite right to doubt him, Lestrade.  Although in general that journey takes one hour five minutes, the particular train he says he took has two extra stops, which adds a further ten minutes to the journey.  So had he been on that train, he could not possibly have reached the Town Hall in time.”

I am impressed with Holmes's ease of use with the Bradshaw, to be honest. I feel that if I had been around in Victorian times I would have probably missed an awful lot of trains :P

I once said "What did autistic men obsess over before Japanese animation was invented?" and without missing a beat my sister said "Trains." That answers so many questions.
