“Why are you sulking?” the Ferret asked Mouselet, somewhat pompously.  “Are you still not talking to Aemelia after your argument?  Really, you should go and make up with her.”

“Firstly, I am not sulking,” Mouselet replied.  “And secondly it wasn’t an argument, it was a frank exchange of views.  I know Inspector Hopkins is the best man in the world.”

“And I know Inspector Lestrade is the best man in the world,” Aemelia Vole said, coming to join the conversation.

“Well, you’re both wrong,” the Ferret said authoritatively.

Both small rodents kicked him hard and walked off arm in arm.
