Admin Post: Monthly Prompt: October

Hallowe’en is on the way! And in acknowledgement of that, the prompt for this month is:
Tales of the Unexpected
Perhaps things are going bump in the night at 221B. Or Mrs. Hudson is not all that she seems to be. Or there is a bizarre twist in Lestrade’s latest case. The field is wide open… (And rather dark and spooky.)
As always, you needn’t use the prompt if you don’t wish to. Once you’re a member, you can post what and when you want—as long as you keep to the 500 words or less wordcount and the ACD Holmes ‘verse. AUs, crossovers and fusions are all permitted, as long as the characters remain essentially recognisable as the original ACD versions.
