Oh, I absolutely love that ^_^ Very, very clever ^^ I love those little Freudian slips that Watson makes that give us an insight into what's going in his head: I knew at once that something was stirring and Just who, exactly, had been rumpling him? ("who" rather than "what").

And Watson's jealous little rejoinder: "Fit like a drum.” “And where did you meet this tambourine?!” I don't know why that makes me laugh so much ^_^

Also: “I was handcuffed, shackled, and locked in the trunk, and he instructed me on how to free myself. This was, of course, after introductions.” “Of course.” There's a great deal in that "of course".

And what a cheeky, subtle and quite appropriate ending ^_^
