Monthly Prompt: November
Admin Post:(OK, before November gets away from me entirely… ^^”)
The prompt for this month is:
Bells
You could use as inspiration Oranges and Lemons. (Presented without comment: apparently there’s an alternative version that begins “Gay go up, and gay go down,/ To ring the bells of London town…”) Or maybe you could use Bell’s whisky. Perhaps Mrs. Hudson is the belle of the ball. Or she’s once again having to deal with answering 221’s doorbell. Or maybe Holmes and Watson are taking up campanology for a case.
As always, you needn’t use the prompt if you don’t wish to. Once you’re a member, you can post what and when you want—as long as you keep to the 500 words or less wordcount and the ACD Holmes ‘verse. AUs, crossovers and fusions are all permitted, as long as the characters remain essentially recognisable as the original ACD versions.
Please see the profile for the full posting guidelines!
