I did like the dialogue you gave the unfortunate Mary in your other fic ^__^

My knowledge of the Mary Russell books is limited to a couple of episodes of a radio adaptation - and they seemed perfectly fine. But the more I hear about the books, the more I'm guessing they're not for me. I'm not comfortable with Holmes and Watson's relationship being diminished - and I couldn't bear Watson being rubbished.
