“Good afternoon, Dr Watson,” Mrs Hudson said.  “It’s nice to see you smiling.  Have you had some good news?”

“Indeed, I have, Mrs Hudson,” Watson replied.  He showed her the headline on the afternoon paper.

“A signal failure outside Charing Cross is delaying the trains,” Mrs Hudson read.  “How is that good news?”

“Holmes will be on one of the delayed trains, which means I can read my book in peace.  I don’t suppose I could have a cup of tea, could I?”

“Of course, you can,” Mrs Hudson smiled.  “I’ll even use the good china, since it’s only you.”

When I went to Cardiff it eas very crowded. There were two big events in the city and only two coaches not three.

I think Watson is entitled to some peace occasionally.
